We hope to make Xizhou Temple richer and easier to explore. These are the directions we plan to work on; details and priorities will evolve as development progresses.
Building on the existing free chart tools, we plan to improve the divination and Bazi system's content, interpretations, and usability as we work toward a full release.
We will organize and refine the explanations on each floor of Randeng Pagoda, making the ideas easier to follow during a visit.
We plan to add a Western Pure Land exhibition to the Western Three Sages Hall and gradually present Amitabha's story through interactive Three.js scenes.
We plan to turn the Dharma Realms diagram into a Three.js presentation, using three-dimensional space to explain its levels and relationships.
We will explore a religious news digest focused on Buddhism, with source references and links for readers to follow.
We will explore adding a forum where visitors can share reflections, ask questions, and discuss content.
We plan to add visual weather effects to the homepage to enrich the atmosphere of the temple scenes.
We welcome your suggestions and requests. We will consider them carefully and add features as development allows. Leave a message below to tell us what you would like to see.

V03 → V05 → V07 · Version history
Xizhou Temple has grown from an illustrated temple guide into a place to explore, read, practice, and exchange ideas. V03 established the guide, V05 expanded hall interactions and mobile use, and V07 brings in more topic tools and services.
The sections below review the main changes by theme. “Upcoming Improvements” above describes future work, including a full release of the divination system and new Three.js presentations.
Read the full notes (MD)Established the temple map, illustrated hall introductions, and hotspots, with routes through the Mountain Gate, Heavenly Kings Hall, Mahavira Hall, and other spaces.
Added dedicated entrances for the Wealth Deities and Garan halls, with separate Maitreya, Four Heavenly Kings, and Weituo areas, as well as main, side, and rear areas of Mahavira Hall.
Retains the hall guide and connects spaces such as Randeng Pagoda and the Chan Forest Trail with more topics, reading, and interactive content.
Focused on hall images, written introductions, selected audio explanations, directory hotspots, and basic bell and drum interactions.
Expanded incense, lamp, flower, and fruit offerings, added guided explanations and browser read-aloud, and improved viewing, tapping, and offering controls on phones.
Keeps those interactions and explanations while bringing together page navigation, mobile reading, and topic entrances across the visit.
Introduced Buddhist figures, hall functions, and related cultural traditions through the temple spaces.
Expanded content about the Eighteen Arhats, Cundi, Mahamayuri, and Thousand-Armed Guanyin, and linked Ksitigarbha Hall to the Hell Scroll.
Brings together the Buddhist calendar, Nianfo Hall, meditation, Life Release Pond, Tiantai practice, Randeng Pagoda, the Dharma Realms diagram, Tower World, and other topics for further reading and exploration.
Alongside the temple guide, V07 adds free chart tools with true solar time, Bazi, Ziwei Doushu, and Western astrology, as well as topic interpretations, yearly cycles, and locally saved cases.
Reports can be exported directly in the browser as Markdown (MD) documents for saving and reading. Charts remain free, and donations are voluntary. A full release of the divination system remains on the improvement roadmap.
Building on the existing email contact, V07 adds registration, sign-in, account settings, and temple messages. Visitors can share questions or suggestions; signed-in users can view their own messages and replies in their account.
The improvement roadmap leads directly to the message form so visitors can share what they would like to see. A community forum is still being explored.
V07 retains U.S. Apple Gift Card support and adds voluntary USDT donations. Visitors can choose USD 1–100 for website support or USD 1–20 as a voluntary offering on the chart page.
The About page now has five navigation sections covering the introduction, support options, upcoming improvements, messages, and version notes, available in both Chinese and English.
